Overview

Cook County, MN has not adopted the MN State Building Code.

Cook County MN Zoning Ordinance #37 requires a land-use permit to be issued for construction of a new structure, or an alteration of a structure's exterior dimension. This permit is approved by the Planning and Zoning Department, per § 16.01, et al. (Please see pages 108-109 of the pdf document for further details).
